Beautiful Badness or the spleen of a child of the Nineties, that of Gabriel Sesboué, songwriter living in Brussels and singer with the voice of an angel, inhabited by his pop heroes such as Anthony and The Johnsons or Rufus Wainwright, marked by the structures Queen and Archive complexes and romantic classics (Berlioz, Camille Saint Saëns …) he learned about black and white keys.
After a first EP that opened the doors of Belgian radio, TV and festivals (including Botanical Nights), Beautiful Badness unveils a first album where heavy bass and resolutely electro remind us that we are still in 2018. “Rewind” listens as an ode to a world that seemed less complex: the many influences assumed are mixed in an epic, lyrical and grandiloquent fresco.
